30-year-old Michael Pike and 24-year-old Jalen Young killed after shooting outside Galley Sports Pub in Elkhart

Male suspect, identified as Christain Wall, 22 years old, was arrested and booked into the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary suspicion of Murder.

This morning, at approximately 12:22 a.m., the Elkhart City 911 Communications Center received a call of a shooting with injuries at 3147 Northview Drive.

Elkhart Police Department officers and first responders dispatched and arrived at the scene shortly thereafter.

Upon arrival, officers observed two injured males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot at this location (in front of Galley Sports Pub).

One of the injured males, identified as Michael Pike, 30 years old, was pronounced deceased in the parking lot.

Medics transported the second male victim, identified as Jalen Young, 24 years old, to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Jalen Young was subsequently pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Elkhart Police Department officers also located and detained a male suspect at the scene.

This arrest will be forwarded to the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office for review of formal criminal charges.
