Jasmine Eason killed in South Memphis shooting
As of now, there is no available suspect information, and the case remains under active investigation.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, a man and a woman were promptly transported to the hospital following a shooting incident in South Memphis, as reported by the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Responding to a shooting call on Rayner Street just after 4:30 a.m., MPD found a woman and a man at the scene, both swiftly taken to Regional One Health.
The woman was in critical condition, while the man’s condition was non-critical.
Sadly, by just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, the woman had succumbed to her injuries.
As of now, there is no available suspect information, and the case remains under active investigation.
