35-year-old Daniel Nix shot and killed at Red Roof Inn in Escambia County
As of now, no suspects are in custody.
During the early hours of Thursday, a male individual lost his life due to gunshot wounds at the Red Roof Inn located on Plantation Road, near Davis Highway in Escambia County.
The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reported that the victim, a 35-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries sustained in the shooting.
A man was observed fleeing from the vicinity, prompting the sheriff’s office to deploy K9 deputies in search of the suspect.
As of now, no suspects are in custody.
The investigation is currently underway.
