13-year-old Malia Clark accidentally shot and killed by 16-year-old boy in Perry

A tragic incident occurred in Perry, resulting in the death of a 13-year-old girl due to an accidental shooting, as reported by Perry Police.

The incident took place at 610 Marsha Drive at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday night.

According to police, the girl was accidentally shot and killed by a 16-year-old boy. Subsequently, she was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to a gunshot wound to the neck.

After investigation, it was concluded that the shooting was accidental.

The 16-year-old has been placed in a youth detention center and is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter.
