On Friday night in Mansfield, a tragic incident unfolded at a party, resulting in the loss of two teenagers’ lives and injuries to four others, as reported by the Mansfield Department of Police.

Responding to reports of gunshots and individuals fleeing the vicinity, officers rushed to the 800 block of Ferndale Road shortly after 11:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, they discovered four individuals with gunshot wounds. While two victims were rushed to nearby hospitals, the other two were regrettably pronounced dead at the scene.

Subsequently, the local hospital alerted police that another victim with a gunshot wound had been brought to the emergency room in a private vehicle.

Following their interviews, investigators concluded that an additional individual had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victims’ ages ranged from 14 to 19 years old. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.

One victim has been identified as Jarmel Boyd. A Gofundme page has been created for Jarmel for a beautiful service.

Witnesses reported that a group of individuals fled the scene both on foot and in vehicles, but were unable to furnish investigators with descriptions of any suspects or vehicles involved.

Mansfield police informed Channel3 NOW that they gathered a significant amount of evidence at the scene, including firearms and narcotics.
