A 29-year-old Benjamin Bledsoe has passed away following a shooting on Wednesday morning in Rockford’s eastern vicinity.
Rockford police report that the man lost his life after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in the 1400 block of Meadow Court.
Dezzeion Benjamin of Minneapolis, Minnesota is charged with first degree murder in the death of a 29-year-old man.
Earlier in the day, investigators stated that the victim was in critical condition upon their arrival at the scene.
