Reports of shots fired at Green Acres Mall
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
Currently, there is an ongoing investigation following a lockdown at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream on Monday afternoon.
Nassau police were alerted to a potential report of shots fired within the mall shortly after 11 a.m.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
Per Nassau County PD, the suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s, with an afro hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, ripped blue jeans and a red shirt under the hoodie.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
