35-year-old Peter Larkin shot and killed in Latonia

According to Lt. Justin Bradbury of the Covington Police Department, the individual who lost their life in Covington on Sunday morning has been identified as Peter Larkin, 35, from Covington.

Lt. Bradbury states that the incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on the 300 block of E. 39th Street in Latonia, where Larkin was fatally shot.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Currently, there is no perceived threat to public safety.

Law enforcement has not disclosed information regarding a potential suspect.
