New Hanover County police arrested Adrian Maurice Hall Jr for shooting and killing Christopher Fenti at Fort Fisher Museum in Kure Beach

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide at Fort Fisher just before 9 AM this morning. Sheriff’s Office Detectives have arrested Adrian Maurice Hall Jr for shooting and killing Christopher Fenti.

Fenti was sitting in his vehicle at the Fort Fisher historic battlefield when Hall approached and started shooting several rounds, striking Fenti multiple times.

During the shooting, one round went through Fenti’s vehicle and struck a second victim who was sitting in his vehicle in the head.

The second victim was rushed to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

Hall has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and two charges of discharging a firearm into occupied property.

Hall has received no bond and is in the New Hanover County Detention Facility.
