One suspect dead another at large, Cleveland County deputy injured in shooting on in Garvin County

• 1 innocent motorist was killed by a stray bullet from the suspect shooting at police.
• 1 suspect was shot and killed on scene.
• 1 suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect on the run is described as a black male, approximately 6’1 with dreadlock hair wearing a white T-shirt and is armed with a pistol.

There is a significant police presence in the area so if you are traveling please be cautious and seek an alternate route if possible.

There was a shooting involving an officer on I-35 southbound at mile marker 60. Both the officer and the assailant sustained gunshot wounds.

One suspect has been fatally, while another remains at large.

An air evacuation was summoned for the injured deputy, and troopers are presently providing medical assistance.

The suspect involved in the officer shooting is currently evading law enforcement.

He is described as a 6’1 Black Male, with no provided information about his attire.

He is armed and was last seen heading north on Ruppe Road, near Green’s Vet Clinic.
