23-year-old Darrell Walker killed following a shooting in Vandeventer Neighborhood
This shooting makes St. Louis City’s 119th homicide.
In the 3900 block of Page Blvd, 23-year-old Darrell Walker was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound to the head, as reported by authorities shortly after their arrival at the scene.
According to a spokesperson from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred a little after 2:20 p.m. in the vicinity of the 3900 block of Page Boulevard, close to North Sarah Avenue.
Upon arrival, the police discovered the male victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head.
Tragically, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The city’s homicide division has taken over the investigation.
