Suspect Akiyah Price arrested for the murder of Matthew Swiger in Jacksonville Beach
Investigators have not reported what the possible cause of the shooting was.
On 09/24/23, a shooting investigation was conducted in the 100 block of 4th Avenue North.
Earlier this morning, members of the Jacksonville Beach General Investigations Unit and SWAT team made contact with the suspect, Akiyah D. Price, at her residence.
Price was taken into custody at approximately 2:54 AM without incident.
Price was charged with Murder, Florida State Statute 782.04(2).
However, investigators are still asking for any witnesses or persons with video of the actual incident to contact 904-270-1661.
