Wolfforth shooting: 73-year-old Cynthia Green dead, Louis Green and Brice Green injured

SWAT personnel discovered suspect with two self-inflicted gunshot wounds, and EMS pronounced him deceased at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday, three individuals were wounded by gunfire on Barton Avenue in the 9200 block of Wolfforth, as reported by the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities reached the scene at approximately 12:20 a.m. and discovered Cynthia Green, along with Louis Green, aged 73, and Brice Green, aged 25, suffering from gunshot injuries.

Deputies successfully identified the suspect as Michael Green, aged 49.

The LCSO offered additional information about Michael’s connection to the victims. Louis and Cynthia were Michael’s parents, while Brice was his nephew, as stated by the LCSO.

According to the release, Michael sought refuge in a recreational vehicle on the premises.

Deputies established a perimeter and called in the LCSO SWAT team after hearing two gunshots at 1:00 a.m.

A warrant for Michael’s arrest was issued, charging him with three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

According to the LCSO, Cynthia succumbed to her injuries at University Medical Center, while Louis received treatment and was subsequently discharged.

Brice, on the other hand, remained in the hospital, continuing to receive medical care for his injuries.
