Peekskill Middle School on lockdown after bomb threat

Peekskill City School District, along with several other districts, has received an email containing a bomb threat.

Chief of Peekskill Police Department is on scene and is currently investigating the situation and evaluating the credibility of the threat.

As a precaution, all outdoor activities have been suspended, and visitors are being screened by administrators.

Teaching continues as usual, and staff members have been advised to promptly report any unusual occurrences to a school administrator.
