Suspect detained after written threat against South Plantation High School

Update: The all-clear has been issued at South Plantation High School following an earlier lockdown prompted by an alleged written threat.
Officers have identified a suspect and have that person detained. The investigation is on-going.

South Plantation High School was placed under lockdown on Tuesday morning following the receipt of a written threat, as confirmed by the police.
Officers from the Plantation police department are currently on the campus at 1300 SW 54th Ave., conducting an investigation.
