Student bring an unloaded rifle on Wright State University campus

A student is currently under questioning for allegedly bringing an unloaded rifle onto the campus.

As per a statement from Wright State University, the university’s police department received a call around 11:15 a.m. on Friday and promptly responded to the incident involving an individual reportedly in possession of a firearm on campus.

Authorities discovered a student in possession of an unloaded training rifle and determined that there was no imminent danger,” the statement read.

β€œCurrently, that student is in discussion with police officers.”

It’s important to note that firearms of any kind are strictly prohibited on any of Wright State University’s campuses.
