Memphis Rapper CEO Jizzle shot during “Lil Baby” concert at FedExForum
At this time, the identity of the shooter is unknown. Police say the shooting was premeditated and the victim was targeted.
During a concert at FedExForum on Thursday night, a man was shot. The incident took place inside the venue while rapper Lil Baby was performing.
The victim, CEO Jizzle, was initially in critical condition but has since been upgraded to non-critical.
Currently, the identity of the shooter remains unknown. Law enforcement officials state that the shooting was deliberate and that the victim was specifically targeted.
There were no other reported injuries, and the Forum was cleared of attendees.
The FedExForum employs a private security firm to conduct weapon screenings for patrons. Memphis Police stated, “It is currently unclear how the suspect managed to bypass the security screening process.”
