32-year-old Keith Lynch killed after shooting during fireworks show in High Point
Police reported that the shooting occurred during an unofficial fireworks show.
Police responded shortly after midnight to a large crowd gathered on E. Lexington Ave.
Officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately administered aid.
While one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, the other tragically succumbed to their wounds.
Keith Lynch, 32, was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Multiple shell casings were found on the road and will be analyzed to determine the number and calibers recovered.
High Point police stated that the investigation is ongoing.
