21-year-old Daveyon Wakefield killed after shooting at Reflextions Lounge in Albany
Three other males sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
On July 5, 2024, around 2:00 AM, officers responded to a shooting at Reflextions Lounge located at 312 Thornton Drive.
Upon arrival, they discovered a 21-year-old black male named Daveyon Wakefield deceased at the scene.
Three other males sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
This incident is gang-related, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

On behalf of Reflextions Lounge we extend our deepest of condolences to the family of the deceased. We also wish a speedy recovery for those injured outside during operating hours. Here at Reflextions Lounge our security is 100% focused on the safety of our patrons/customers inside the building at all times. We are putting this incident in the hands of our trusted law enforcement & continue to keep the families of the affected and our loyal customers in our prayers. With this being said, we will be closed today July 5th.
