Non-verbal 6-year-old Marcel Traoren dies after being found in Dundalk waters

Update: Sources told Channel3 NOW that 6-year-old Marcel Traoren has been found deceased after being found in Dundalk waters.

The Baltimore County Police Department is aware of a photo being circulated on social media that has generated questions about the whereabouts of 6-year-old Marcel Traore prior to being reported missing this morning.

At approximately 2:50 a.m., a resident called 911 to report a child in the road. An officer searched the area and successfully reunited the child with family members around 3:30 a.m.

Just before 7 a.m., family members contacted police to report the child missing.

This led to a large response by the Baltimore County Police Department and Fire Department, who conducted a search of the area and located the child in the water.

(10:39 a.m.) Baltimore County Police and Fire have resources searching Lynch Cove in Dundalk in reference to missing 6-year-old Marcel Traoren.

The Baltimore County Police Department is attempting to locate a non-verbal 6-year-old child named Marcel Traoren. Marcel was last seen today at around 4:50 a.m. in the Dundalk area.

He is four feet tall and weighs 44 pounds. Marcel was wearing a gray/green shirt and gray shorts when he was last seen.
