Suspected murderer Stacy Lee Drake captured in Arkansas

The Conway County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Thursday morning that Stacy Lee Drake, a man sought in connection with multiple recent killings, is now in custody.

The 50-year-old Drake is suspected of multiple murders across Alabama and Oklahoma. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) had announced to the public on Wednesday, June 19, that he was believed to be on the run and considered armed and dangerous.

Drake is wanted in connection with homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma and faces other felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, including charges of aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.

He is currently being held at the Conway County Detention Center. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
