Round Rock Police Arrest 17-Year-Old Ricky Thompson III in Connection with Juneteenth Festival Shooting at Old Settlers Park

A 17-year-old suspect, Ricky Thompson III from Manor, has been arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in connection with the deadly Juneteenth celebration shooting in Round Rock. The attack left two women dead and 14 injured.
During a press conference, Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks announced Thompson’s arrest at 7:30 am on Thursday.
He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
