60-year-old Kenneth Ray Graham at large after assaulting officer
The man is armed and dangerous and assaulted an officer of the law.
Update: The Tate County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 60 year old KENNETH RAY GRAHAM (pictured below), who is wanted for Aggravated Assault on a law enforcement officer.
Last seen in the 2900 Block of Highway 305 approximately noon today wearing blue jeans, a light blue and white striped button-down shirt, and cowboy boots.
This is an active investigation. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE SUBJECT, CALL 911.

A crime scene has been established at the local high school, Independence High School, in Tate County, with deputies reportedly present on-site, according to sources.
Sources report a significant number of deputies in the vicinity of Highway 305 near House Road.
It is advised to steer clear of this area as road closures are in effect on Hwy 305 from House Rd. to Poagville Rd.
According to a source, an active shooter has barricaded themselves inside a camper and is firing at deputies. DeSoto SWAT and negotiators are currently present at the scene.
Another source informed Channel3 NOW that it involves an ex-husband who is holding his ex-wife at gunpoint in the house directly across from Independence High School.
Alternate routes are strongly recommended.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
