10-year-old Ladarius Nesbitt dead after shooting in Coahoma County

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office is providing a $2,500 reward for any information that leads to the apprehension of the individuals responsible for the shooting.

A 10-year-old boy lost his life in a shooting in Coahoma County, Mississippi, on Sunday night.

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office reported that around 9 p.m., a 14-year-old and a 10-year-old were driving in the downtown area of Friars Point when an unknown assailant fired shots into their vehicle.

Ladarius Nesbitt, the 10-year-old victim from Lambert, Mississippi, was hit and transported to a Clarksdale hospital in a private vehicle, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office is providing a $2,500 reward for any information that leads to the apprehension of the individuals responsible for the shooting.
