In northwestern Arizona, a tragic house fire claimed the lives of five individuals, including three young children, according to authorities on Sunday.

The Bullhead City police reported that the fire erupted around 5 p.m. on Saturday, and it seems that no adults were present in the two-story duplex near the Colorado River at the time of the incident.

A spokesperson from the city fire department stated that the five victims were aged 2, 4, 5, 11, and 13. One child has been identified as 5-year-old Zane Michael Jones.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and officials provided limited details, only noting that there were reportedly no adults at home during the incident.

City police and fire departments, along with other agencies, including the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, are conducting an investigation into the fire.
