28-year-old Bryson Walton found shot to death outside Primos Food Store in Harris County

The victim, a 28-year-old man discovered fatally shot beside his car outside a convenience store in northwest Harris County over the weekend, has been identified.

The search for Bryson Walton’s assailant is ongoing. Responding to a shooting report around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, authorities found him injured in front of Primos Food Store at 14180 SH-249 near Old Bammel N.

Walton was discovered beside his vehicle in the parking lot of the store, according to the police. Witnesses informed deputies that Walton had engaged in a dispute with another man in front of the store.

The man allegedly fired multiple shots at Walton as he was returning to his vehicle. The suspected shooter, estimated to be in his mid-20s to 30s, fled the scene.

Investigators are currently striving to ascertain the events that preceded the shooting.
