One person shot outside Parkway Plaza in El Cajon
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department has reported an injury resulting from a shooting incident in the parking lot of Parkway Plaza Mall.
Deputies have stated that the incident occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, outside the Spirit Halloween Store at Parkway Plaza, situated at 291 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon.
Following the shooting, the 16-year-old male victim entered the Halloween store in a state of distress, while the assailant fled the scene, as per the sheriff’s department.
The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The El Cajon Police Department also provided a response to the incident.
