1 dead, another injured after shooting at Landmark Lodge in Fort Worth
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
On Monday, July 1, 2024, at 3:21 p.m., Fort Worth police officers responded to a shooting call in the 7500 block of Camp Bowie West Blvd.
Upon arrival, they found two victims with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Unfortunately, one victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The second victim is currently receiving medical care, and their condition is unknown.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident as a potential robbery.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death and will identify the deceased once the next-of-kin has been notified.
