25-year-old Kaylen Boston found shot dead inside vehicle in Boiling Springs
Upon arrival, deputies discovered “the victim in a vehicle that had been shot up,” according to Bobo.
A man’s death overnight in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, has led to a homicide investigation, officials announced on Tuesday.
Lt. Kevin Bobo of the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a shots fired call around 12:40 a.m. on Outlook Drive in Boiling Springs.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered “the victim in a vehicle that had been shot up,” according to Bobo.
Despite the deputies’ life-saving efforts until EMS workers arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the victim as 25-year-old Kaylen Devagieo Boston of Duncan.
He mentioned that an autopsy had been conducted, but the results are still pending.
