At least 3 skiers missing after avalanche at Lone Peak Summit in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

Various organizations are mobilizing in response to an avalanche in the Lone Peak region, where several skiers are currently unaccounted for.

Ben Porter of the Unified Fire Authority reported that their department was called in to assist after receiving reports of three missing skiers and a dog.

Unified Fire Authority announced on X that they are dispatching a unit in collaboration with the Sandy and Draper Fire Departments.

“We possess limited details regarding this incident,” the post mentioned.
