1 injured in shooting at home on Carlin St, suspect found dead with self-inflicted gunshot wound

A 911 caller stated that her boyfriend had shot her brother.

In Detroit, Michigan, a multiple victim shooting has occurred at 9146 Carlin St. One male with multiple gunshot wounds has been reported.

The suspect has been found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in front of the house.

Additionally, there may be two more individuals inside the residence.

At 1:45 PM, the situation at the scene has been officially labeled as a “barricade.” The Detroit Police Department’s 2nd Precinct responded to a shooting incident in the 9100 block of Carlin following reports received.

Rapid Response Medic 71 is en route to the location as well. Upon arrival, a scout from the DPD 2nd Precinct reported that one male was found injured with what seems to be three gunshot wounds to the legs.

The individual is conscious and breathing.

The suspected shooter is believed to still be present at the scene, and scouts are taking necessary precautions.

Additionally, there are reports that two individuals may still be inside the residence, with a gunshot being heard from within.
