Lake Elsinore Walgreens on lockdown after reports of incident

A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to reports of incident at Lake Elsinore Walgreens in California.

Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.

As per a Facebook post, a friend of mine is currently on lockdown due to reports of an active shooter at Walgreens in Lake Elsinore. He reached out to me from the vision center at the shopping center, although the specific location remains unclear.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
