Nigel Jackson Jr. and Percell Scott III killed in shooting at Noir Lounge in Columbus

Update: The identities of the two individuals fatally shot at a Downtown Columbus nightclub have been disclosed.

The Columbus Division of Police has confirmed that Nigel Jackson Jr. and Percell Scott III were the victims of the shooting incident that occurred at the Noir Lounge on West Cherry Street in the early hours of February 5th.

Jackson Jr., aged 25, and Scott III, aged 24, were discovered with gunshot wounds outside the nightclub’s entrance and were both declared deceased at the scene at 1:25 a.m.

Authorities mentioned that neither victim had identification on their person when they were found, although they were purportedly inside the establishment designated for individuals aged 21 and over that night.

Investigators are said to be reviewing exterior security camera footage in hopes of uncovering any details that could provide further insight.

In the early hours of Monday morning, two individuals were fatally shot outside a nightclub in downtown Columbus. Police responded to numerous 911 calls at 1:15 a.m. reporting the incident near the Noir Lounge at 15 West Cherry Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene, one found on the sidewalk and the other in the street. Dispatchers noted that callers provided vague and conflicting descriptions of the shooter. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
