Lincoln Police attended to an incident on Sunday at the Home Depot near 70th Street and Highway 2 after a man was observed ramming vehicles with a skid-steer loader.

As per LPD, the individual transported the skid-steer loader to a nearby U-Stop at 2:30 p.m.

Subsequently, he operated the loader, causing damage to numerous vehicles at the U-Stop and an adjacent parking lot.

Later, he drove the vehicle to Home Depot, where additional damage was inflicted upon several vehicles, including a Lincoln Police Department cruiser.

Footage shared with Channel 3 NOW from multiple witnesses depicts the skid-steer spinning in the parking lot and colliding with vehicles, including the LPD cruiser.

The identity of the man involved has not been disclosed by LPD.

He was apprehended by the Lincoln Police Department on charges of Criminal Mischief, Second-Degree Assault, and Second-Degree Assault on an Officer. LPD is presently conducting an investigation into the incident.
