4-year-old Zacarion Depp killed in accidental shooting in Chickasaw
The neighborhood residents expressed shock upon learning about the incident in their community.
The identity of the 4-year-old boy who succumbed to gunshot wounds in the Chickasaw neighborhood on Saturday has been revealed.
Zacarion Depp passed away approximately 30 minutes after being shot, according to the Louisville Metro Police.
The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. in the 800 block of South 37th Street.
The location is a few blocks west of the Shawnee Expressway.
Authorities established a pathway to transport Depp to Norton Children’s Hospital in downtown Louisville, where he passed away at 4:25 p.m.
The coroner’s report indicates that the shooting was accidental.
