The man who was fatally shot at a Woodlawn shopping center in the early hours of Saturday has been identified by Baltimore County Police.

On Sunday, authorities announced the death of 28-year-old Judah James due to the injuries sustained.

Known in Baltimore’s hip-hop scene as Bandhunta Jugg, James was the elder brother of Israel James, also known as Bandhunta Izzy.

The siblings rose to prominence after the release of “Bandhuntas” in 2016, as reported by the Baltimore Banner.

In the same incident, three men aged 25, 26, and 29, along with a 26-year-old woman, sustained injuries, according to authorities.

The shooting occurred in the 800 block of Woodlawn Drive around 4:05 a.m., targeting the group. Investigators concentrated on a white sedan with shattered windows parked at the shopping center.

Baltimore County Police Detective Trae Corbin informed Channel3 NOW that the victims were inside the vehicle during the shooting.

A local business owner, Chaudry Mahmood, commented that the deadly gunfire did not come as a surprise, stating, “This area is deteriorating.”

Those with information regarding the fatal shooting or the individual(s) accountable are urged to reach out to Baltimore County homicide detectives at 410-307-2020.

Detective Corbin mentioned, “They’re collaborating with local businesses to obtain any accessible surveillance footage that might have recorded this incident and the responsible suspects.”

A reward will be provided to those aiding the detectives, and individuals wishing to remain anonymous can contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.
