The Portland Police Bureau has named the individual who was fatally shot in the Centennial neighborhood on Saturday.
Around 10:15 p.m., law enforcement responded to a shooting incident at a residence on Southeast 154th near Southeast Powell Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of 50-year-old James David Mack of Portland on the front porch.
A medical examiner concluded that his cause of death was homicide resulting from a gunshot wound.
No arrests have been made, and authorities have not disclosed any suspects or provided information on the circumstances leading to the shooting.
