40-year-old Stephanie Green found dead after Orchard Street Shooting
Detectives are actively engaged in the ongoing investigation and perceive this incident to be isolated.
The Owensboro Police Department has identified the victim of an apparent shooting.
According to OPD, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Orchard Street on Wednesday, November 22, at 8 p.m. in response to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of a 40-year-old woman with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, later identified as Stephanie Green of Huntsville, Alabama, was confirmed by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office.
OPD reports that the scene underwent processing by ECU technicians, where evidence was gathered.
