Suspect 49-year-old Shaun Luzama killed in officer-involved shooting in Bremerton

The suspect accused of killing Michael Lefeau in Parkland was barricaded in Bremerton.

An Officer Involved Shooting has been reported at the SWAT Callout. No Law Enforcement Officers have been injured. The suspect is deceased and a woman was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

At this time the investigation of the OIS will be turned over to the Kitsap Critical Incident Response Team (KCIRT).

At 12:10 am, on Friday November 17th, our SWAT Team was called out to arrest a homicide suspect in Bremerton.

The suspect has been firing shots at our deputies throughout the morning. He has still been firing shots within the last 30 minutes.

NO DEPUTIES ARE INJURED.

A warrant has been issued for the apprehension of an individual accused of fatally shooting a father outside a Parkland apartment. Michael Lefeau, 41, was tragically shot while visiting friends at the Concordia Arms Apartments near 129th St. S and Pacific Ave.

Authorities have identified 49-year-old Shaun Luzama as the suspect in connection to the shooting, and he is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Described as 6’1″ tall and weighing 220 lbs, Luzama has black and gray/white hair typically styled in long braids.

Considered armed and dangerous, individuals with information about Luzama’s whereabouts are urged to contact 911 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or via the P3 tips app. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Luzama’s arrest.
