Tiffanie Lucas arrested and charged with murder of 6 and 9-year-old boys

Update: A bond of $2 million has been established for the woman from Bullitt County who is facing charges in connection with the fatal shooting of her two children.

Tiffanie Lucas, who is the mother of the victims, has been arrested and charged with two counts of murder.

The two juvenile victims ages 9 and 6 have succumbed to their injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

At 11:07 am reports of a shooting with injury at 213 Bentwood Dr in Shepherdsville, KY came into the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office E911 dispatch center.

At this time 2 juveniles have been transported to Norton’s Childrens Hospital both are gunshot victims. We are currently very early in the investigation and at this time a person of interest has been detained from the shooting scene.

The investigation is in its early stages and once more information becomes available, it may be released. At this time, it appears all parties in relation to this incident have been accounted for and there is no threat to the community.
