28-year-old Nicko Santiago killed in a shooting on Hillsboro Street
In connection to the incident, 55-year-old Lawrence Rodriquez of Martin was arrested.
The victim of a fatal shooting in Martin, Tennessee has been identified as 28-year-old Nicko Santiago of Martin. According to the Martin Police, the shooting occurred on Wednesday, November 1.
In connection to the incident, 55-year-old Lawrence Rodriquez of Martin was arrested at a residence on Sidonia Road in Weakley County around 9 p.m. on the same day.
Rodriquez has been booked into the Weakley County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Rodriquez, sought by the Martin Police in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Nicko Santiago on Hillsboro Street, was located by officers.
Santiago was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and despite being transported to a Memphis hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
