19-year-old Faybe’ann Ragsdale shot and killed near the Home Depot in Monroe, Georgia
Monroe Police have charged 21-year-old KEVIN ROSA of Monroe with Felony Murder.
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at approximately 1950 hours, Monroe Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision near the entrance to Home Depot and West Spring Street.
While en route, another 9-1-1 caller advised the driver of the SUV had a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, 19-year-old FAYBE’ANN RAGSDALE of Monroe was located inside the SUV with a gunshot wound to the head and succumbed to the injuries.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was contacted to process the crime scene.
With the assistance of the Conyers Police Department, Monroe Police has made an arrest concerning the October 31, 2023, shooting death investigation.
Monroe Police have charged 21-year-old KEVIN ROSA of Monroe with Felony Murder. This is an active investigation, and more charges could follow.
The shooting incident is an active and ongoing investigation by the Monroe Police Department, and we seek the public’s help if anyone should have any information concerning this incident.
