All 3 victims killed after shooting in Texarkana, Texas identified

Update: Two person arrested in the shooting that left three people dead and three more wounded at a party on Saturday night.

Breoskii Warren, 20, turned himself in on Wednesday afternoon. He has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of Murder. Devon Hayden, 26, was charged with one count of Murder. He was arrested after being released from the hospital on Wednesday.

Detectives learned that Hayden got into a fist fight with a man at the party, which led to Hayden shooting and killing him. Warren then pulled out a rifle and started shooting at Hayden – hitting him and some bystanders who were nearby. Two of those people who were shot by Warren later died.

Both men have been booked into the Bi-State Jail. Warren’s bond has been set at $6.25 million, and Hayden’s at $3 million.

A total of six people, ranging in age from 19 to 31 years old, were shot at a party in the back room of a business in the 700 block of N. Stateline Avenue a little after 9:00 Saturday night.

One man died at the scene, and then a woman and another man died overnight at the hospital.

The three other victims – two men and a woman – suffered what are not believed to be life threatening injuries and are recovering at the hospital.

All 3 victims who were killed have been identified. Jayla Hampton, Alqadis Williams and DeAndre Fezell.

Detectives have been out all night working on this case and have identified 20 year old Breoskii Warren as a suspect in the shootings.

Apparently, this all started when a fist fight broke out between two men at the party. At some point during this fight, at least two men there pulled out rifles and started shooting.

We’re still investigating this terrible incident as we continue to try to determine exactly what happened and who all was involved.

We’re on the scene of an incident where five people were shot inside a building in the 700 block of N. Stateline Avenue at a little after 9:00 tonight. Tragically, one of them has died. The other four were taken to area hospitals, but we don’t know what their condition is yet.

It’s still very early in the investigation, so there are a lot more questions than answers at this point. However, our officers and detectives are working hard right now to try to find out what exactly happened.
