21-year-old Heaven Budd killed after shooting in Homewood
Police looking for 2 suspects
Authorities are in search of two males following a fatal shooting in Homewood, where a 21-year-old woman lost her life.
Responding to a call at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday, police and medics were dispatched to the area near the E. Busway overpass, at the intersection of Finance Street and North Homewood Avenue.
The victim, suffering from an upper body gunshot wound, was swiftly transported to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries later on.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed on Tuesday that the victim was Heaven Budd.
According to the police, two masked males dressed in black fled the scene in a vehicle heading towards Penn Avenue, traveling along North Homewood Avenue.
