The coroner has identified the 16-year-old boy who tragically lost his life in a shooting during a house party in Oakley over the weekend.

The Contra Costa County sheriff-coroner has confirmed the teenager’s name as Ke’Marion Tucker.

This incident occurred on Saturday around 11:15 p.m. at a residence on Shannon Way.

Additionally, three other teenagers were injured in the shooting and have been hospitalized, according to authorities.

Ke’Marion, unfortunately, passed away at the scene.

One of the wounded individuals has been discharged from the hospital.

Oakley police were called to the residence half an hour prior to the shooting due to noise complaints concerning a sizable gathering.

Upon arrival, officers advised the attendees about the excessive noise level. However, after the officers departed, numerous teenagers gatecrashed the party.

Following this, screams emanated from within the residence, and a number of individuals were observed fleeing through the front door. Law enforcement surmises that there was a single assailant, who is still at large.

Ke’Marion was enrolled as a student at Liberty High School in Brentwood.
