Hoax active shooter call at Robert Driscoll Middle School in Corpus Christi

Around 1:48 p.m., the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) received a report of a potential active shooter at Robert Driscoll Middle School, as documented in the CCPD Blotter.

Police conducted a thorough search of the entire campus situated at 3501 Kenwood Dr., ultimately affirming that there was no danger to the school.

All students and staff are accounted for and unharmed. No injuries were reported.

The CCPD has also verified that the initial report of an active shooter was a false alarm, and they are currently conducting an investigation to determine the source of the call.
