3-year-old Kae’lynn Marie Matthews among 3 dead after 4 people shot at JTB Apartments in Jacksonville
Police say the five individuals had traveled to the apartments, “possibly to conduct the private sale of a dog.”
On the night of September 23rd, four individuals were shot at the JTB Apartments on 8876 A.C. Skinner Pkwy in the Baymeadows area of Jacksonville’s Southside.
Tragically, among the victims, three lost their lives, including 3-year-old Kae’Lynn Marie Matthews, as reported by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant Chief Stronko of the JSO stated that a little past 10 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the apartment complex following a report of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, officers ascertained that there were a total of five victims in the shooting, consisting of four adults and 3-year-old Kae’Lynn Marie Matthews.
According to the police, these five individuals had come to the apartments, potentially for the purpose of arranging a private dog sale.
