Heavy police presence at Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin
Security cameras at the school have not captured any unusual activity on or around the campus.
Austin police are currently at 2309 Panther Trail (Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders) in response to reports of a potential active shooter.
This came after APD received a call about an individual who entered a nearby business and claimed there was an active shooter at the school.
Security cameras at the school have not captured any unusual activity on or around the campus.
There seems to be NO IMMEDIATE DANGER to the campus or the neighboring areas.
Nonetheless, officers are continuing their investigation as a precautionary measure.
