Multiple people injured in escalator malfunctioning incident at American Family Field in Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI – American Family Field – Report of an escalator malfunction: 6 individuals injured, including 1 with a broken femur. Multiple ambulances are responding to the scene.

A witness on the scene told Channel 3 Now, “Holy crap. I was on a down escalator from the terrace level at American Family Field when it suddenly sped up to about three times its normal speed halfway down. There was a massive pile-up at the bottom.

Thanks to the kind souls who helped us up.

One person looked really shaken up.This is not a ride we want to take again.”
