19-year-old Antonio Holmes shot and killed in Washington Heights neighborhood
No one is in custody at this time, and Area Two Detectives are investigating.
A 19-year-old man, identified as Antonio Holmes, was killed in a shooting on the city’s Far South Side.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday in the 700 block of West 93rd Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood.
Police responded to a call about a person being shot and found Holmes with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A witness reported that the shooter ran to a black sedan and fled the scene.
